God designed us to function within the context of relationships; we need others- their imput, their support, their goodwill, etc. The Bible says, the Body of Christ is built up as each part does it’s work. God ordained relationships to bless us and improve our lives. There is nothing wrong in receiving help from others; you can’t do all by yourself! We must overcome Independent and prideful thinking. To enjoy the power of relationships, we must, however, learn to build and invest in relationships; thereby overcoming selfish and dependent thinking. We don’t make a withdrawal where there has been no deposit, or reap where we have not sown; or else that would amount to us ‘Using’ people...
