However, you can’t receive more than you can handle; Jesus told His disciples, “I still have many things to tell you, but you can’t handle them now.” (Jn. 16:12 MSG). You can only have as much revelations, breakthroughs, responsibilities, etc; as you can handle. In the parable of the Talents, the Master gave to each one “according to his own ability;” (Matt. 25:15b).

I’ve heard people say, they couldn’t do much or that they’ve done all they can do, without getting the desired results. The truth is, you can’t pray, give, love, lead, etc; beyond your capacity! This teaching is, therefore, about how to increase your capacity to receive and to give.
